Hemp ups and downs
So how many knew - The first law in the American colonies regarding marijuana was a 1619 law that actually required farmers to grow the hemp plant. Once harvested, hemp was useful for clothing, sails, and rope. BUT when 1936 DuPont came out with nylon rope then all the bad on hemp was put on the table and hemp was illegal 1937 so that this new oil product could have its way into the market to replace hemp rope. This was far to dangerous of a drug to leave to the public so had to be banned, so everyone could have alcohol and tobacco. Does anyone see how the public was manipulated on this issue, wake up folks we are still being manipulated daily.
